1. General information
These General Contracting Conditions govern the purchase of products through our web site https://laumbriaiberico.es from now on “la Web” or ”LA UMBRÍA S.C.”. By accepting these General Terms and Conditions of Business, the User declares
- Who has read, understands and understands what is stated here.
- Who is a person with enough capacity to hire.
- That you assume all the obligations set forth herein.
- That it has the legal age (18 years) to acquire the products that are offered in the same one.
2. Purchase procedure
The procedure to contract the products offered through https://laumbriaiberico.es, is the following:
Product selection: The User who wishes to acquire a product offered through the Web must mark the button “ADD TO CART”. Before marking this “ADD TO CART” button, the User can consult the detailed description of the product (price, weight, denomination, ingredients) that he/she wishes to acquire. The User may continue with the purchase process until he has selected all the products he wishes to order through the Web.
Purchase Confirmation: Once all the products have been selected, the User will be able to see the selected products by clicking on the “VIEW CART” button where a summary of the order will be shown. In case you wish to continue shopping, you must click on the “CONTINUE SHOPPING” button. Otherwise, it will mark the “FINISH PURCHASE” button.
Customer data and secure payment: The User must fill in a specific form related to the shipment of the order. Users who have already registered their shipping data at an earlier time should not fill in this information again. Otherwise, before confirming the payment details, you must include the order’s shipping details, as well as the order’s billing details. Then the User must choose a payment method between credit card payment or Paypal to confirm the order. Before passing the next step the User can, before validating, see a summary of the order. Then the button “FINISH PURCHASE” must be checked and you will be redirected to the payment platform that corresponds to the chosen payment option.
Payment confirmation: Once the order has been confirmed, the User is shown confirmation of receipt of the order. The order will be processed once LA UMBRIA S.C. lreceives confirmation of the payment of the order according to the form chosen by the User in the step “Customer data and secure payment”. The User can continue shopping after this purchase process has been completed. In certain cases and in order to prevent possible fraud, La Umbría S.C. reserves the possibility of asking a client for a specific form of payment in the event that the identity of the buyer is not reliably proven.
3. Delivery conditions
LA UMBRIA S.C. sends its products exclusively to the E.E.C. The transport costs, depending on the area where the products are sent, will be paid by the buyer. These shipping costs vary according to the shipping zone, and the total weight of the order.
- From 100€ of purchase, LA UMBRIA S.C. will not invoice shipping costs for delivery to any address in mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands and mainland Portugal.
- From 200€ of purchase, LA UMBRIA S.C. will not invoice shipping costs for delivery to any address in mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and mainland Portugal
- From 300€ of purchase, LA UMBRIA S.C. will not invoice shipping costs for delivery to any address in mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, the Canary Islands, France, Belgium, UK, the Netherlands, Italy, Germany and mainland Portugal
Orders will be delivered to the delivery address freely designated by the User, within the period established in the product file itself. LA UMBRIA S.C. has contracted with its logistics partner the possibility of a second delivery attempt, at no additional cost and coordinated with the User, in case the User is not at the delivery address on the first delivery attempt. However, LA UMBRIA S.C. will not assume any responsibility when the delivery of the product does not take place as a result of the inaccuracy or falsity of the data provided by the User for this purpose, as well as in the event that the delivery cannot take place due to causes beyond LA UMBRIA S.C., as is the absence of the addressee in the two delivery attempts set out in the contract conditions.
LA UMBRIA S.C. cannot be held responsible for delays in the delivery of orders for reasons not directly attributable to LA UMBRIA S.C., nor for causes beyond the company’s control such as fortuitous cases and force majeure.
4. Prices of the products offered on the website
The price of the products offered on https://laumbriaiberico.esinclude, unless expressly indicated otherwise, the Value Added Tax (VAT) or other taxes that may be applicable and, in any case, will be expressed in the Euro currency (euros). If the destination of an order is a place that applies customsduties, the costs derived from the duties must be paid at destination by the buyer.
Due to the handcrafted production and the way of presentation, some of the products shown are shown in a certain range of weights, among which the different pieces vary. A price is established for each of the products according to the data in their descriptive file.
For any information on the order placed, the User may send an email to email@example.com. In any case, you must indicate the order number that was assigned to you and indicate it in the purchase confirmation email.
5. Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 calendar days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period shall expire 14 calendar days after the conclusion of the contract. Excluded from this right are products acquired once opened or any other that is delivered sealed and whose seal is removed, as well as those that expire quickly or are directly excluded in Article 103 of the Consumer Law.
You may use the model withdrawal form below, although its use is not obligatory, and you may use any other unambiguous statement. If you use this option, we will promptly notify you in a durable medium (for example, by e-mail) of the receipt of such a withdrawal. In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient that the communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal is sent before the expiry of the withdrawal period.
Consequences of withdrawal: In case of withdrawal on your part, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method that we offer) without any undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the date on which you inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make such refund using the same payment method you used for the initial transaction. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods. You must return or hand over the goods to us without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date on which you inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract. The period shall be deemed to have been complied with if you return the goods before the end of the 14-day period. The goods shall be delivered with seals and packaging intact in their original packaging. You must bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You will only be responsible for any reduction in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Applicable law and competent jurisdiction
Ehese General Conditions are governed by Spanish law. If you are contracting as a consumer, for the resolution of possible disputes, the parties agree to submit, at their choice, and renouncing any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them, to the courts and tribunals of the city corresponding to the address of the Member or User. If you are contracting as a company, the parties agree to submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Seville, expressly renouncing their own jurisdiction if they have one.
