Amazing visit to learn more about the iconic Jamón Iberico and how this can be done in a sustainable and eco friendly way. Sylvain is extremely knowledgeable and was great to interact with on all aspects of his farms. It was very interesting to discover how they build a viable model to raise iberico pigs and find ways to leverage other culture like olive, sheep, bees, fruit trees… Lunch was very good in an incredible setting. And as far as the quality of his jamón, it’s the best I have ever tested over multiple trips to Spain. A must do if you are interested (or obsessed) about Spanish cuisine. Thanks again
We stopped by here while checking out the nearby pueblo blancos. Sent a WhatsApp to Sylvain in the morning and him and his partner graciously set up a spread to do tasting for us to try different meats, drink some wine, and olives/snacks, even though we didn’t have time to do the full tour. Next time we surely will. The Jamon and sausage was really delicious, everything is organic, and there pigs are free range. Both Sylvain and Antonio were very kind and passionate about what they do. Definitely stop here if you can!!

Very authentic experience of Iberico farm. The owner Sylvain was an enthusiastic and friendly guide explaining in detail the intrinsics of ecological Iberico farming enjoyed with a tasty buffet of Iberico ham and local products. Sylvain showed the great care he takes in providing for his animals having created an ecological farm with happy pigs running around freely. The piglets were a delight to see. Surely a unique and interesting experience we would recommend to anyone having tasted Iberico ham and interested in learning more about the origins.
Muchas gracias Sylvain por la experiencia especial! It was very interesting excursion along the La Umbria ranch that breeds free range iberian pigs for the 100% bellota jamon products. So basically we had a good time with the owner walking around the ranch, got to know a lot of interesting information within an informal, friendly setting understanting the basics of maintaining a farm of iberian breed pigs :) Afterwards had a good time tasting their products too, which were amazing - from jamon de bellota to pates de morcilla and sobrasada. Usually im not the fan of last ones, but quality of their product is really good. Also, if you would like to have a hike afterwards, there are good routes out there, and you can also ask owners for directions. So yeah, we had a great time and will be back for sure! Thanks Sylvain and Antonio if I remember correct :) Very recommended experience!
Incredible experience! We contacted the owner two days before our visit. Manolo gave us a tour of the farm with a lot of knowledge and passion. We learnt so much about the breeding, the vegetation and had so much fun :) Loved the cat, the dogs and of course the pigs! Don't miss a visit!
We had a great visit, many interesting information, a nice walk over the farm seeing the pigs, very tasty ham and the kids loved the dogs (and the pigs, but the dogs were cuddlier :)) Thanks a lot, Sylvain, for this wonderful evening! We are still waiting for our chance to adopt a pig ...
Incredible spot. Do not miss a visit! We messaged Sylvain on WhatsApp and he was super flexible with our moving schedule. We were greeted by owners (father and son) for the tour. Sylvain gave us a fantastic tour and an incredible tasting. We walked away with enough jamón to feed a small army. Top quality unlike anything we’ve had in our year plus of touring Spain. This place is gold! Meeting spot for the tour might be different than what’s on google maps so it’s best to message Sylvain and confirm meeting place. Google maps location is to the actual farm but they sell their products in a shop in Pruna.
